HyperX launches the Alloy Origins 60 compact mechanical keyboard

HyperX is bolstering its gaming peripheral portfolio with a compact, 60% form factor mechanical keyboard. The new HyperX Alloy Origins 60 will feature HyperX’s own Red switches, RGB backlit keys, and double-shot PBT keycaps.

Measuring in at 296 x 105.5 x 36.9mm, the compact Alloy Origins 60 occupies considerably less space than a full-sized keyboard. The body of this keyboard is made of aluminium for increased stability and sturdiness, while the durable double-shot PBT keycaps are engraved with secondary functions for ease of use. Users can adjust the keyboard angle based on three different tilt positions to better fit their hand positioning.

Each key has its own RGB LED that when combined with the exposed LED design, produces a “brighter illumination with radiant lighting effects”. Users can choose between one of the five LED brightness levels, or use HyperX Ngenuity software to further enhance their keyboard RGB lighting, as well as configure macros and the Custom Game Mode, “allowing users to choose which keys are enabled and disabled” when enabling it.

The custom-designed HyperX Red switches are rated for 80 million clicks and feature a short travel time and low actuation force, resulting in improved responsiveness and accuracy. This keyboard also features anti-ghosting, full N-key rollover, and a detachable USB-C to USB-A cable. The packaging also includes additional accessories such as a HyperX “ESC” keycap, an exclusive HyperX-designed spacebar, and a keycap puller.

The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 with HyperX Red switches is available now for $99.99. You can learn more about this keyboard HERE.
