Seagate’s FireCuda Gaming SSD is a pocket-sized exterior SSD dependent all around a Seagate FireCuda NVMe drive and features a USB 3.2 Gen 2 x2 (20Gb/s) interface and a customisable RGB LED function.
Just 3 capacities make up the FireCuda Gaming SSD array 500GB, 1TB (the drive we are reviewing) and the flagship 2TB unit. At the heart of the travel sits a Seagate FireCuda 510 NVMe SSD along with an ASMedia bridging IC. The FireCuda 510 employs a rebranded Phison PS5012 eight-channel controller and Toshiba BiCS3 64-layer 3D TLC NAND. Seagate estimate Sequential functionality for all three drives as up to two,000MB/s for each browse and writes.
The travel also options customisable RGB LED lights, which is managed through the Seagate Toolkit program utility.
